The panel works as advertised. Installation is very easy as well. I've installed it on cloudy day at winter where the temperature was around -3 outside , and after one hour it was charged about 1%. On sunny days it will than charge faster. I'm happy with this product.

I honestly don't remember the last time I've taken my best camera down to charge the battery. The cord is nice and long so i was able to mount the unit at the top of the roofline where it gets almost all day sun.

Very easy to install. It took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Home app shows infinite charge "Solar". It only displays battery level if if get down to 20% or so. I think a lot of people using anything solar would like to see battery level all of the time. It would be great to see how quickly it charges. I suspect this has more to do with Google than Wasserstein. I'd imagine they are restricted in how this works by Google. Another gripe I have is you can't do 24/7 video recording while connected to the solar device. You are restricted to events only. Again I'd imagine this is a Google requirement.I like it. I do think connecting to a mains supply is a better option if you are close to the power supply. This would give you 24/7 recording. However if you aren't near a power supply then the solar is a great product. You need to get into your head that you still have a battery product being charged by solar rather than a Nest cam with a power supply. As I pointed out your camera wont function with the likes of 24/7 recording using the solar.Great product. I do believe it's limitations are down to Google requirementsEDIT: I liked this so much that I bought a second one for another camera. If the had an option for a longer cable I would buy a third one. Sun is at the back of the house. I would need to install on the back side of the chimney to power a camera on the front (shaded) side of the house.2nd Edit: I just thought I'd update again with how it preformed during the winter. I live in Dublin, Ireland we can have as little as seven hours of daylight during the winter & not much sunshine. The solar panel preformed very well. I had absolutely no issues. I'm actually thinking of adding another one for a camera at the front of my north facing home.
