Our dog has VERY high levels of thyroid, and the vet asked me to check her treats and food, since she is not exposed to any thyroid medication she might have ingested. She eats this topper everyday. We learned that this brand and beef topper has been recalled for mixing thyroid with other meat products causing many dog to develop health conditions. I do not know that this particular batch being sold here is prior to recall and fixing. but since none of the other products she is eating have the ingredients which could cause this issue, by process of elimination we are refocused here again. There is no way to know if this seller is selling a batch of bad food or not, but I would suggest you have your dog's thyroid checked if you have been purchasing it for a while! Many people try to offload recalled goods on Amazon, and/or make money off of how cheaply the seller purchased the recalled product to make a sizeable pay on the resell. Just be sure. Have your dog's thyroid CHECKED.

My dogs really enjoy this food. I will stay with this barns from now on. My dogs are very picky when it comes to food but this food they did not even think twice. They just jump in and they wanted some more. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this to make my dog more interested in his food as after surgery he wasn't as excited to be eating anymore. I was slightly leery of a canned food because last time I fed him canned food his farts were horrible and it gave him diarrhea. This food however hasn't bothered him at all, no stinky farts and his poops are great! And he looooves eating it mixed in with his kibble :)

Wellness Beef is 95% beef, grain free, MADE IN THE USA and "cooked in the can" so freshness and taste is locked in! What more could you want? The first ingredient is beef, no wheat, corn, meat-by products. I feed my dogs Wellness Chicken and that stuff smells just like canned chicken. I open up the can and my mouth waters. It smells so good. Do my dogs like this beef? That is hard to tell. My older dog eats anything and my younger dog eats nothing. It was the same with this dog food. As long as my older dog doesn't walk off and leave it in his bowl, then he likes it. I gave it four stars because it's just another dog food that the younger one won't eat. He is so picky and I have yet to find anything that he wants to eat. But as for me, I like the ingredient list, it's made in the USA and it's grain free.

I bought this for my picky eater puppy and he approves. My cat also likes it! Win all around.
