Ran around in Kauai. Had to run in a down pour with my phone in the pocket and it didn't fall out or pull my pants down. 🤭 Good weight. Felt comfortable. Sized about right.

I recently purchased these for a tropical vacation and wore them almost every day for walks along the beach. They were super comfortable and the pockets were great for carrying a phone; I could snap a pic, tuck the phone away and then be hands free again. I didn't do a lot of swimming - mostly lounged on the beach and read - but when I was in the water, they stayed in place and then dried reasonably fast afterwards.I ordered both a medium and a large as I wasn't sure which size to choose based on the reviews. Both fit reasonably well. The large was just a tiny bit wide in the legs for me as I have thinner thighs. The large waist was comfortable and would have worked for just walking around but I wasn't sure what would happen when it got wet, meaning would the material get heavy and start to sag. With this in mind, I decided to go with the medium. The waist fit a bit snugger and if I had large hips it would have been a no go. However, I could get it on/off easily and felt it would be more secure plus the leg width was more complimentary for my body type. FYI - my waist is 33", hips 41", weight 145, height 5'9"I also purchase a different, less expensive brand of swim shorts with cute ties on the sides that allowed the leg length to be adjusted BUT they weren't nearly as comfortable, especially in the crotch area. I couldn't wait to take those ones off and will likely give them away and get another pair of these Willet ones.

Great quality but the minute I took it out from the packaging I could tell it was too big. I’m a usual US6 for bottoms and this was loose, not sure if it’d stay up when in the water. It measures 14.5” across when unstretched. I’d size down to an XS next time.
