These sockets fit to the factory headlight plugs on my 2004 suburban perfectly, but the red/black were reversed.The red lead matched up to the black/ground on my vehicle. I used a tiny pick tool to release the individual connectors and swap them so that the black was ground, and the red was the 12v +. It was pretty easy to do the swap, it took about 15 minutes to change all 8. Check the polarity for your application before you start, and before applying power. (for example, LED's might not work if wired backwards)

First i tried to connect this with my led fog light and it didnt work at all, i read some reviews, one guy said black wire to red and red to black, so i tried and it worked, but why the hell they make it like this ??

These felt like cheaper connectors but did what I needed for a headlight build. Good for the price
