These have been working great for my child with ADHD. She sits longer at the dinner table. She also took one to school and uses it there it seems to help her stay focused a little longer. I think the hand fidgets would cause her to pay less attention

My son loves this & his teacher loves it for him! I gave her the 5 pack to use with her children as needed along with my son!

Okay, first of all, yes, they are sturdy and they DO work. However, some students with VERY fidgety feet unconsciously begin to snap the bands with their feet movements and this 'can' become distracting to some teachers and students. If a student is able to just lock their foot into the band, or bounce quietly with the band, it is a great tool for them. Some children just need to "ground" to be able to focus--and my class seems to have quite a few of those "needy" children! The only caveat is the snappers. I have one. She is a delightful student, well-behaved, but she cannot stop snapping. It is an unconscious movement on her part, so if you have one of those, this might not be the answer, but for the others, the bands work very well.
