you don't even need any woodworking tools if you have wood glue and clamps.buy a bag of small square blocks from amazon and off you go.

This book is well presented and a pleasure to read. It is full of large,detailed colour photos that explain every step of the process. The jigs required to make the parts are shown in detail and the explanations on puzzle solutions toward the back of the book are first class. The book is exactly what its title says -wooden puzzles and nothing more. Really excellent and well recommended
