When they say 8 year olds, they mean it. They don't make any of these sweaters for under 8 year olds, so I got it for a 5 year old, washed it and dried it. It shrunk, but not enough. Still I can say it's durable and very nice even after washing.

We ordered this for a Hermione costume. My daughter loved it! It was a bit long for her, but she'll be able to grow into it. She has worn it over and over!

Bought this for my kids costume. I got them a whole size up and it just fits them right. No growing room. so definitely go one size up in these.

Initially I purchased a size 8 WOTOGOLD Cosplay Costume vest sweater for my 8 year old granddaughter. She is a Harry Potter fan and wants to dress as Hermione Granger for Halloween. The sweater was adorable but was too small for her. I returned it for a size 10, which fit her perfectly. I now have a very happy granddaughter who is looking forward to October 31st.
