I was working on a Maytag dishwasher on which none of the spray arms were spinning. Replacing the chopper blade and clearing the associated debris from the old one got the lower arm spinning. I replaced a seal at the bottom that appeared to be a source of lost water pressure, but still the arm for the top rack didn't spin. I replaced the top rack manifold due to the worn seal to the spigot at the back of the washer, but still no spin. Before spending the money, I brought the top rack outside and fed the manifold with a garden hose, and saw water pouring from the attachment point, and no spin. Thinking the leak from the middle of the arm was the problem, I finally bought this new arm, and it spun! I didn't see where the new part was sealed any better at the pivot point than the old one, so I looked more closely, and saw that some of the holes were plugged on the old arm. I cleaned debris from the bottom of the washer, but missed the debris that made it to the top rack spray arm. By twisting off the center plastic attachment point, with patience and a lot of rocking back and forth I finally removed all of the debris, and then the old spray arm would spin. So, if you have a no spin condition, check your old spray arm for debris first.

Hate that food clogs in this. Years of use wore out the nylon washer so it didn't spin well. The old one start falling out during the dishwasher loads. Ordered this replacement. Hand screwed right into the bottom of the upper rack and works like a charm. No more food particles on our glasses. No more spray arm falling off.
