I bought this jacket with the intention of using for winter running in North Dakota winters, where I will run with temps/wind chills in the negatives (Fahrenheit) and needed a jacket to effectively block our strong ND wind while also being breathable to allow my sweat to not be trapped inside. The jacket seemed very effective for the former, but less effective for the latter than what I was looking for. My body really warms up a few miles into a long run, so I got too warm for the long runs I tested this on while training for a half marathon. For a person who tends to stay cold when they run, this jacket might work well. The outer material is smooth and very bright in the neon yellow color, which is great for running in low light conditions like early mornings in the winter. The inner fleece lining is also soft and warm. One other thing to note is on the fit; I had to return this size Medium and order a size Large because the cut is pretty long (esp. for my 5' 4" height) and straight, despite being for a woman (which should have a bit of a flare for the hips), which made the fit in the hips too tight to zip in the Medium. The Large zips over my hips (still fairly snug), but is a little loose in the upper body and long in the arms. (The Medium fit better in the upper body.) Overall, this is a high-quality jacket for an affordable price, and it might work great for something less sweat-inducing, like cycling (what it's primary purpose is), or for a runner who tends to stay colder and need more warmth without as much need for breathability.

I ordered this jacket to use for running in the winter and I wanted something light and flexible, something that would work well with either one thin layer or several thick layers. Other jackets I found were softshell which I find a bit stiff and thick if it’s not super cold.This jacket is just what I wanted and have worn it in +2c up to about -18c with varying layers and it has blocked the wind and been super comfortable. The pockets are great, I can fit a 250ml soft flask in the front pocket and my Yaktraxs in the back pocket.I gave it 4 stars as the seams are not taped and my sweat starts to seep out through the seams (shown in the photos). The jacket is breathable so eventually it starts happening in other places; it doesn’t bother me but if you want to avoid this rather unattractive look I would suggest the black! This only happens after more than an hour or so of running, these photos were taken after 90mins at -5c.

A well fitting jacket for biking. I am 5'3" 130lbs. A bit busty with not hips. I read some reviews from people who said it was snug in the hips. I do not find that to be true with my shape. Very comfortable, zips easily. Water resistant and windproof. Love the hood. Very visible when riding at dusk on my bike. The only comment I would make is it would have been nice to have the reflective band on both arms, instead of one. The few little slashes of reflective material on the back could be a little larger too. Not overly concerned about that, as I really don't plan to ride in the dark. The bright color keeps me more visible during the day. Very please with this purchase, have worn it several times and feel it is a quality jacket for the price.
