Muy buen producto pero me llegó incompleto en la descripción del producto decía 3 hilos de color café, negro y blanco y faltó el blanco. Amazon solo me dió la opción de devolver el producto pero me lo quedo incompleto.

I bought this set because I have used the Wuta brand before and their products are good and I needed this thin thread. The thread - brand Wuta - is lightly waxed and that is good for this thickness. It does not leave white residue periodically as I stitch. The needles - a packet marked "Basic Home Handy Needle Assortment" - the Wuta brand is not present on this set - is made up of single needles of different sizes and shapes.. Single needles might work for repairs by people who do not do leatherwork but leatherworkers, even hobbyists, use 2 needles for the type of stitching needed for leather. I like this packet because it actually shows what the different needles are for - there are so many types of leatherwork needles, this is useful. Extra needles can accordingly be bought, if needed. There are also 2 separate little zip-locks with slender needles in a packet marked Wuta. These needles are in pairs. The single needle set is, I suspect only for repairs and the pairs are included for actual leatherwork. Those needles are a little slender and fine and will probably work only for thin, soft leather. That is fine since the thread accompanying is fine as well.

I have a beautiful leather messenger bag that had a split seam due to me cramming too much into it. Because it was leather, it seemed like an overwhelming job to me, and I’d planned to take it to a professional when “I had the time and money”. We all know that combination doesn’t roll around very often, so when I saw this thread, I started to think I might be able to fix the bag myself. I didn’t attempt to put it on the sewing machine. I just threaded one of the included needles and stitched the bag using the original stitch holes that were still clearly visible. I used silicone thimbles to help grip and pull the needle. The brown thread was an almost perfect match and I’m very pleased with the results. I was focused on the thread when I chose this set, but the needles were so much handier than I’d expected. When you’re doing a project that requires this type of thread, you need a larger, sturdier needle as well. Even just the fact that they have a larger eye is essential. The thread is flexible but strong and I had no problems with twisting, shredding, or breaking. One other small thing I was happy about was that the thread is on the type of spool that has the snap open bottom that holds the thread end so there are unraveling spools to cope with.
