The seat didn’t fit directly onto our stationary bike but with a small amount of modification we are able to use it and it has made to use of the bike much more manageable

I recently ordered an XWing Saddle for a friend who sought my advice on saddle selection due to discomfort in his private area, especially now since he’s traveling farther with his new city e-bike.After some research, I found the XWing noseless bike seat for him. It’s comfortable and, most importantly, it relieved the pressure on his private area.I also recommended this saddle to other friends, who also had similar issues of discomfort. One of the riders mentioned to me that he felt like he was sliding off the seat, and thought the base should be wider for better support after couple of rides.Upon inspecting his bike, I noticed that he installed his saddle in the wrong angle position. The seat rails were not parallel to the ground. And, I also found that he is more use to very a very forward riding position even with his beach cruiser. We adjusted the saddle to the correct angle, and suggest him to try with the upright riding position, and the problem was eliminated. He immediately felt the difference and now rides in comfort. He previously was using a popular saddle called “Cloud 9.” Which is also a favorite saddle of mine.I made a side-by-side comparison of the Cloud 9 and the XWing noseless Saddle to show him the difference. The XWing noseless bike seat is wider and shorter in length due to its NOSELESS design. Apart from the nose and wing area, the top view shape of both seats are very similar. The angle and shape for both saddle provide suitable room and gives you a clear angle for your legs to pedal comfortablyFrom the side view, the sit bone area of the Cloud 9 seat is around 1 inch higher than the nose area, while the XWing noseless seat is flatter and is around 3/8 inch higher than the nose area. For the softness, the X Wing is noticeably a little bit softer for me. So, based on the foam density and shape, the Cloud 9 seat may actually cause the cyclist to feel that sliding sensation compared to the X Wing saddle. The feeling of sliding off the seats usually occurs when rider is being in a very forward riding position, it also puts pressure on your wrists trying to hold up the cyclist. With a noseless design, you don’t feel the support from the seat nose, and may feel like you will slide off because that is noseless design, and you are not use to it.For the regular seat, you will be getting support from the seat nose, and this is a happens to causes the discomfort, as the seat nose is what rubs against your private areaMost saddles have a nose and it is the number one reason people feel that discomfort and often times develop a rash because the nose is causing the discomfort.Three noticeable design characteristics create a pleasurable riding experience: (1) a higher sit bone area, (2) a deep center canal to reduce pressure from the private area, and (3) the NOSELESS design that relieves all pressure from the private area because there’s nothing to rub your privates on.But, NOT all Noseless Saddles designs are the same. Even for noseless saddle, If the short nose area higher than the sit bone area, the nose area still rubs against your private area and cause discomfort. unless you are in backward sitting position, like rowing position.Lastly, we compared the base width of each saddle. Both the Cloud 9 and the XWing noseless seat have a base width of around 10 inches. The average human sit bone width is around 4 to 5.5 inches for men and 4.3 to 6 inches for women. A ten-inch base with thick foam provides more than adequate support. The XWING shape design has an extra inch foam on each side of the base that follows your body curvature with flexibility for added support and comfort.Noseless design saddles are more suitable for upright riding position for city commuter bikes, beach cruisers, upright e-bikes, and stationary bikes. If you’re looking for a comfortable bike saddle that reduces pressure on the private area, it should be a good option to try. When you feel comfortable, you are more likely to take longer rides.

Finally comfortable bike seat. The stock seat on my E-Bike was not great for even short rides.I bought an "oversize extra comfortable" seat , not really much better. This seat though is a game changer. No discomfort at all even after the longest ride I have taken so far.I am not at all overweight but riding hurt , so this is not just for chonkey people but anyone that gets pain from normal seats.I just wish I had not wasted money on a claimed good seat when there actually is a good seat. . . this one.
