My under Armour water jug does not stay as cool as I would like. With summer coming I had the idea to somehow make a block of ice that could fit in my jug. I wanted to prep my water jug at night and it still be somewhat cold in the morning. I happened upon this ice mold. This was the smallest mold that I could find for a good sized ice block. I fill it a little over half way and once frozen the block fit perfectly in my jug. The ice came out very easy.

I love that it makes huge blocks of ice for Ice Bath, but the walls are weak and tend to spill water when in freezer.

Purchased these to make ice blocks for fishing . Don’t waste your money . They say large …. My bread pan is bigger . Very disappointing .

Recently purchased a cold plunge and got these for that purpose. Living in Florida, needed the larger ice packs, so I was pretty excited to try out the extra large ice blocks. You need at least 4 to get 80 gallons of water down 20 degrees in temperature. The size of the ice blocks is great – they last a pretty long time, which is perfect for those hot, humid days. The mold itself is easy to fill, and I appreciate the simplicity of the design.But....getting the ice out is a bit of a hassle. Sometimes the blocks don’t release easily, and I have to run the mold under warm water, which kind of defeats the purpose when you’re trying to keep things cold. Plus, it takes up a lot of freezer space, so if you’ve got a smaller freezer, be prepared to rearrange things.Overall, the ice blocks are fantastic when you finally get them, but the effort to get them out and the space it takes up are definite drawbacks. It’s good, but not quite the convenient solution I was hoping for with my cold plunge.
