Bought this to replace blow off valve. The small aluminum line fitting does not fit any line I could find. I have the skill and tools needed to do this job. Repaired the old blow off valve and modified as needed to make this work. Not worth it

My shop compressor needed serious plumbing attention. Exact replacement parts for older units are difficult to find so some adapting to my compressor was required. This pressure switch once installed has been functioning well, off & on as it should.

Pros: the switch did work after modifying it.Cons: The 1/4" inlet meant for receiving the existing 1/4" pressure tube from my compressor was not big enough for me to insert it. I was able to disassemble the 1/4" inlet on the new switch and replace it with the one from my old switch. I doubt if too many people have the skill to figure out how to do this. The other problem I ran into was all of the electrical connections on the new switch were marked positive (+). There should be positive in, positive out, negative in, negative out. I got the combination in the right order on my second try. There were no wiring directions included with the new switch.In summary. My compressor worked with this new switch but it did take some tools that most people probably do not have in their toolbox, and it took electrical experience along with a voltage meter to make it work. My professional experience is I am a for hire licensed contractor currently, and have decades of automotive experience as my first career.
