I had seen these journals via Instagram for a while now and I knew that I wanted to get one for my dad. I had searched relentlessly on here for one and I am so glad that I eventually landed on this one.Not only is this very well made, but it had such beautiful quotes throughout the journal, as well as very well and thought out questions.For somebody with a very militant and “non-emotional” father, I cannot wait for him to receive this because I know that this will not only bring up so many beautiful memories, but be beautifully therapeutic for him as well.Absolutely perfect and thoughtful gift for a father❤️

I got this and opened it up to take a look at the kinds of questions I can expect to ask my dad to get his life story recorded. I could practically hear my dad’s voice as I thought about the way he’ll answer each question. And I know my kids will treasure this record! I am so excited to get his life story that I immediately went back and bought one for my father-in-law to fill out for us, as well as the mom version for my mother and mother-in-law to out too! What a great way to share family history!!

Love how it starts with the literal basics to get someone who doesn’t normally share get more comfortable through the progression of the book. I did have to order a replacement as the first one came damaged.
