I recently received this "Double Curtain Rod for Windows 31 to 137 Inch, 1 Inch Heavy Duty Black Double Curtain Rods, Adjustable Blackout Telescoping Wrap Around Dual Curtain Rods for Windows, living room, Sliding Glass Door" with plans to replace the curtain rod at the patio door so it will match the "steampunk" styled cafe table set and I like the style upgrade a lot. This was a project I initiated before Christmas, but then the holidays hit and it's taken me weeks to revisit it. I mounted a curtain rod above the sliding glass door in the fall, before winter really kicked into full gear, because I felt like it would be more efficient. The slider's glass doors are insulated, of course, but the lack of "buffer" was obvious when entering the breakfast area. As it got colder outside, the chill was more than just a little noticeable. Naturally, that's when *matching* curtain rods showed up and enticed me into ordering. It wasn't a pressing issue, but I really liked the idea of having curtain hardware that matched the same style of my cafe table and barstools. They're in that "steampunk" style with exposed gears and (what looks like) wrought iron pipe metal. It's all very industrial looking and I liked the idea of matching the window's hardware. I finally got a chance this past weekend and I'm pretty happy with the look. The rod itself is adjustable in that you pick and choose how many of the sections to connect. You'll want to take the "measure twice, cut once" approach though, because even though it's not difficult to adjust the length, it's far more time consuming than a telescoping curtain rod, and not something to do one-handed while supporting both the rod and curtain above your head. The metal is surprisingly lightweight for how industrial LOOKING it is, but that's a plus for sure. If the rod weighed as much as it LOOKS like it should, well... it would be REALLY heavy. The drawback is that this means that to use this rod at maximum length, you'll most likely need to use the center support as well. I was trying hard to avoid that because of a motorized curtain robot that doesn't seem to play well with center-supports, but meh. In the end, the final look of the window is much more what I was after. (Curtain robot, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. I promise I'll find you a different window!)I'm really liking the built-in double-layer and the more polished look to the window as a result. The hardware is such a good match that you'd think I ordered the table, barstools, and window dressings from the same place, and I love that. This double curtain rod was priced at $49.99 at the time I placed my order. Given the flexibility of the rod's length and the "industrial/steampunk" design (that matches my dining set perfectly), I feel this item is very reasonably priced.Happy to recommend!

All hardware is included to install. Be sure to separate all items and count them before putting together. The instructional booklet does NOT give you quantities of each. It tells you the parts supplied. You will need 2 people to install it. Put your curtains on the poles before finally install. It might not be so easy to change out curtains but I haven't tried since I just installed my winter curtains when we installed the rods. It is sturdy & holds the weight. Not so easy for them to slide open or closed but I still love the look and the style. Exactly what I wanted but couldn't find. Deducted a star due to lack of instructional details & lack of easy changing of curtains.

These matched other industrial/pipe deco in my home and I love the flexibility they provide. I have several windows with non-traditional widths, plus I wanted a second white inner curtain on its separate line and these worked perfectly. The hardware provided are more then enough to hold up the curtain rod with attached curtains. Note - if you have heavier curtains or a wider span, I recommend using the center support bracket - unfortunately it prevents either set of curtains from spanning the entire span but only needed them to meet in the middle which still eliminates all light. These look amazing and are highly recommended.
