I love the length of these cables because I can run the cables through a window and protect the solar generator from heat, rain, or possible theft. When I'm camping, I can put my solar panels well away from shaded areas, yet I can keep my solar generator in a shady spot out of the hot Texas sun. This cable does what it is supposed to do and I no longer have to string several shorter lengths of cable together to create a long enough run for my needs. Since there are fewer connection points on this one cable versus three 10 foot ones, the cables also take up less storage space.

I currently have four power station and several charge controllers which use the XT60 solar connector format and need a quick, simple means to connect them to various portable panels. For me, the Hiutgowt solar extension cable, with its XT60 connector, is the perfect solution. This cable is very well made, and the 12 AWG wire insures minimal voltage loss. This cable simplifies the connection/disconnection process, as it is basically a "one and done" operation. You don't have to find, carry, connect and disconnect a separate MC4 to XT60 adapter every time you need to use an extension cable. However, the cable's best feature is its use of a "lamp cord" style wire casing. Rather than having two individual "red" and "black" cables, this cable simplifies things by only requiring a single (joined) "cord". This makes both using and storing the cable much easier.Overall, I would highly recommend the Hiutgowt extension cable to anyone looking for a quick and simple MC4 to XT60 cable solution.

[30ft XT60 to MC4 cable]This is a good pairing for portable folding solar panels as it gives you some distance to get the panels in the sun and maybe you in the shade or to your tent. Cable is copper and has a decent XT60 connector on it. Wire jacket is reasonably flexible but not super flexible, will be a bit stiffer in cold weather. Overall a decent cable for it's usage. Would have been nice to see a cable tie of some sort included to keep it bundled up when not in use but I happened to have one handy that did the job.

Nice 30 foot solar extension cord. I got it so my solar battery can sit under the camper in the shade yet have my portable solar panel out in the sun. I have a 120 watt panel and my Bluetti reported the same power input as when the Bluetti was right next to the panel using the 3 foot cord. In other words I saw no loss of power due to the 30ft length. It has a nice durable feel. Both the MC4 and XT60 made a nice tight connections. It is going to make camping so much nicer not the have to keep moving the panel and battery around to get it charged.

This review is for the Hiutgowt Store 12AWG XT60 tp MC4 Solar Cable 30FT.This is a solid, well built cable that allows you to put your battery generator in the shade, away from your PV panels. The XT60 plug was firm and tight in my Eco-Flow battery. Likewise the MC4 connectors were tight, solid and hard to take apart. I *like* MC4 connectors to be firm to mate and disconnect, because I believe it makes for a more waterproof connection. If I have to use a MC4 wrench, that’s OK with me.The cable has a smooth surface that is not “sticky” like so many cables. This will allow it to easily shed dirt, leaves and grass when coiling it.Connections were tested with an old FLUKE 75 VOM, and the connections showed good continuity and very little resistance. This is a good, long cable. The quality is good. Buy it if you need a long cable.
