The greatest thing about these Landing Pads, is you can remove them in less than a couple minutes. I used the Yakima Tracks, these Landing Pads, and Corebar to attach a system to my F-150 side bed. I had to modify the typical install process for the Tracks, but it works fantastic! I can remove the rails easy to access and roll back the tonneau cover when needed or to put large stuff back in the bed.

Works perfect for the track system that I installed on the roof of my truck topper. They are sturdy and strong. I even bought another set for my jeep.

good alternative to stock crossbars on 2012 Subaru Outback - doesn't gain any bar spread front to back but does permit use of the much more robust Yakima cross bars - the stock crossbars are flexible composite and bike racks swayed all over the place, worth the piece of mind to go with the full Yakima metal bars and feet with these mounts - also the setup allows for equally easy on and off as unlocking and releasing the matching control tower feet lets you lift the bars off and stash in corner of garage

Fit onto truck capper easily but did have to buy longer bolts. Works with set of rails also used on the car.
