I really like these stands. I bought the full set previously and wanted to add another cymbal stand. The C channel base is lightweight and strong. It will support any cymbal with no trouble. Just be careful about adding attachements because the light weight doesn't offer a lot of tip resistance if you have an unbalanced boom arm clamped on. I would not recommend using the base as a yamaha double tom mount upper section because the stand neck can be seen flexing under the weight. I got through the gig but went back to just using it for one cymbal. These stands are noticeably lighter than regular steel stands and for most single cymbal use, they are my go-to stand to keep the wight down in the bag. Also, I used it to mount an ipad clamp for certain shows where I needed a stable stand up high to be in line with the music director. I highly recommend these!

Esta opción es excelente para bateristas que necesitan estarse moviendo continuamente y que la transportación del equipo sea práctica y ligera. En mi caso, todos los herrajes, bases y clamps caben en la misma bolsa que este kit incluye. Bateristas versátiles que llegan a tener más de un evento al día, lo agradecerán.

No pesan nada, las puedo llevar a cualquier lado sin cargar tanto, llevo adicional 2 atriles DW6000, son super estables, no se mueven y el material a pesar de ser ligero se siente de gran calidad, y al ser de aluminio, te evitas el oxido.

First and foremost, the cymbal stands are awesome. Incredibly light-weight and very sturdy. I actually thought I'd have more of an issue with the cymbal stands, since they are not booms, but I configured the positions to work fine. The Snare stand does well, but it wobbles a bit (using a 13x7 snare). The hi-hat is the issue: this one took a ton of weight out of my bag (my HD Tama one weighs 5x the Crosstown), but the tension is just not what I'm used to. I've played this out for two months now and I needed to switch to a standard light weight Yamaha stand to at least get the action I need. The Crosstown stand just doesn't open and close with the accuracy I desire. Still, the package saves my back some effort!

Solid hardware. Don't know why more companies offer light in weight drum hardware. highly recommend. Also bag is generous in size making room for drum pedal etc.

A great hardware innovation by Yamaha. These cymbal stands are simple in design yet so well thought out. If you are a gigging player who would like to lighten the load in your hardware bag then you can do no better than the Yamaha Crosstown stands. They are second to none. I own the complete set and I have yet to see another company come up with a stand so light but sturdy at the same time. Bravo Yamaha you made me a believer.
