Great value! I’ve used this a fee times with my TIG welder at around 130A and had no issue with the level of protection. The darkening feels instantaneous, and the viewing window size is perfectly fine. I like the test button inside the mask to let you make sure darkening works before starting the arc.The material is a flexible plastic, which feels pretty durable. Ive been using it in my garage in the winter in upstate NY, and expected the plastic to get more brittle or fragile from the cold, but it hasnt. It feels reasonably durable, but the hinges are made of a hard plastic that feels like theyll be the first thing to break.The size of the helmet and head band is great. It’s very adjustable, and ive worn it on my bare head (hat size medium) and with a thick winter hat on (extra in diameter) with no trouble.The only sticking point is when you raise the mask, the hinges lock lightly in place to keep it open, but are a little weak. The mask tends to fall down if you move your head too much. Maybe i need to tighten the hinges or something, but that’s my only real complaint. For $40, it’s hard to beat the value.

The shading adjustment doesn’t go light enough so even at the lowest setting you can see the arc but very difficult to see the work. AFTER REVIEWING THE MANUAL AND ADJUSTING THE SENSITIVITY FOR AMBIENT LIGHT THE HELMET WORKS GREAT A D I AM CHANGING MY REVIEW TO 5 STARS

It works fine. I just wanted a spare and it works just fine. I didn't have to spend a load on it either.
