It’s a joy to create a level bed for tamping. As some people have mentioned, because this tool is so heavy you could use it as a one-shot distributor and tamper. However, I adjust mine shallower so that the bed is not totally compacted. Then I tamp after. Either way, this tool is incredibly robust, shockingly heavy, and reliably creates a perfectly level puck.

Produit lourd et de belle facture. Très bien fini et pas le moindre défaut. Le réglage de la hauteur est très pratique, ce qui me l'a fait préférer au Motta. Fonctionne parfaitement et représente une très belle alternative aux OCD que j'ai trouvé hors de prix. A acheter les yeux fermés.

Produit de qualité. Lourd et solide. Le café ne reste pas collé sur le métal.Parfaitement ajusté au porte filtre 58mm.

Schwer und stabil. Über die Kontermöglichkeit lässt sich die perfekte Höhe einstellen.Ich drehe das Teil immer erst links rum, um das Kaffeemehl gut zu verteilen und danach rechts rum, um es zu glätten.Tampern ist danach gar nicht mehr wirklich nötig, ich mache es aber dennoch.Am gestiegenen Druck bei der Zubereitung merkt man, dass Channeling nun der Vergangenheit angehört.Für mich inzwischen unverzichtbar. Die Qualität beim Bezug ist stabiler, so gut wie kein Ausschuss mehr und auch Anfängern, die meine Siebträgermaschine unbedingt mal selbst ausprobieren wollen, gelingt sofort ein trinkbarer Espresso. :)

This is a heavy bit of kit.You get 5mm of depth adjustment and once you have it set it locks off and stays there.It has given my coffee pucks an even, reproducible tamp.The quality of the finish is second to none and it fits the portafilter exactly.
