Tight fitting prevents the new KNOB from springing out. When parked, have to manually pull the KNOB out (all the way) to release the key from the ignition. In addition, have to use a drill to make the HOLE (very small in rectangular shape, 2mmx3mm, somewhere near the middle of the new KNOB) bigger, so the TIP of the (spring-action) PIN will fit thru the HOLE in order to release the ignition key. The PIN will be visible after taking the SHIFTER handle out (2 screws on the base) which contain the broken KNOB. The PIN can be pulled out from a small shaft the PIN is sitting in, with a small spring supporting the base of the PIN. Sounds difficult but you'll see what I mean once you start taking the SHIFTER handle apart.
