I love this for straining oil infusions for my handmade soaps and skincare products. It's a sturdy tool and allows me to press the oil out of the herbs with little waste compared to hand squeezing. It washes up easily, too.

I do like this item but will pass it on to a family member. I have arthritis in my hands and unfortunately it was too difficult for me to use. The item itself is well made and I’m sorry to pass it on.

When I unpacked this, it didn't seem as sturdy as I was expecting it to be. 22 pounds of Thanksgiving Garlic Mashed Potatoes later...it proved it could handle the job with ease. Much simpler to use than expected, and the potatoes turned out with an excellent consistency. I was really impressed. Easy cleanup as well. Wish I'd used it earlier. Definitely worth it.

I don't think the padding covers enough of the hip and I'm concerned about the lack of thickness where it does cover. I'll have to get some actual "sliding" in to know for sure.
