Quality material, design and sewing. My grandson is on the tall/slim side for 10 years old with a 25 inch waist. Ordered the medium and fit perfect. Anticipate the wear and washing will be fine but if there any issues I will provide an update.

My son says they're very comfortable and almost don't take them off after games...He's 10 and between a med, LargeIf he's happy, I'm happy!

Exactly as described. Bought these in a med for my 11 year old baseball player and he loves them. He is a smaller 11 and they fit him perfect. By soft protective cup as opposed to hard just means that the cup is made of a really tough paper like material. It feels as it will last for a while. It's tough enough to protect but has more give than the standard plastic cup. You can always use a different cup or replace it if you do not like it.
