I got this to increase the efficiency for work and study, which greatly helps.There are 10 chances for emergency unlock so it is under-friendly.I do recommend trying this product if you want to manage your screen time better.

In love with this phone timer lock box. For those who can’t stop looking at the cellphone every 5 minutes, this is the perfect solution or even for teens who have problem concentrating doing their homework.The lock mechanism works great and makes a satisfying noise when locking and unlocking.It has an opening at the button to accept or decline calls.

Anyone born after 2005 or so is extremely susceptible to cell phone addiction. obviously everyone has the potential to have it but my kid REALLY has it. She just received her first cell phone after having an i pad for a good 5 years which her grandmother gave her not knowing the effects that were brewing behind the scenes with kids and screens, any way years of struggle go by and now she is old enough to go out on her own with friends and needs some line of communication to make sure she is safe. BUT the doom scroll is real when she is home. now don't get me wrong its still a chore to get her to put the phone in the lock box. usually to get her to stretch her legs and get some fresh air, but mainly to maintain proper sleep. i didn't want her droning on all night on the thing and that is the best part of this. i looked at some others that all had emergency unlocks. and i knew she would eventually figure out how to do that and liberate her phone in the middle of the night, she is just clever like that. But that option docent exist on this device so now we all sleep well lol. great product

I like the half opaque front, you can do urgent things (like taking calls) without having to open the box, but you also can't fiddle around with the screen when the phone locked. Great. However, I really wish there was a top open slot like the box I had before. The lack of a top slot makes it impossible to do things like dismiss alerts or click pushes. I have to duo app authorize logins on my phone from time to time, and this was possible to do in the previous box that I had, but not in this one. Would have been perfect with this extra design feature.
