This is actually great because it’s just a tripod with some mounting options, my dad has even used it to support his radio antenna.

I had my eyes open for awhile for a decent tripod. Usually you don't get one unless it is incorporated with a device so you cannot easily (or at all) separate the two. This one is actually perfect as it really is just the tripod with some mounting means without the scoreboard. You have your standard 1/4"-20 threads and several other holes where you can modify it to your or your devices needs.I have used this to hold my phone steady for videos where I am doing something and it's just myself. It has held laser level. It made a great bottle rocket launcher too. It can hold up lights in specific heights for car work in your garage.You could even use this in the bedroom with an actual scoreboard to denote how many touch downs you made! I would not advise it as most likely your offensive drive is gonna be similar to the Vikings and you choke before actually winning a super bowl.Oh wow! Burn!The possibilities of use are limitless.

Aside from extending to different heights.....the base legs clamp does not secure properly and the legs will slide open and become unbalanced. Poor quality clamping device on the base legs.
