They look beautiful but they don’t stick outdoors as described. I had to buy a heavy duty (Gorilla Brand) double sided tape which I had to do in sections as they were unsticking.

I bought 5 of these strips to light our expansive and multi-tiered deck, and installed under the handrails. My husband and I are obsessed with the look, and have walked out night after night just to appreciate it.We weren’t sure if they were going to be bright enough to navigate the stairs at night, but light level is perfect! Bright enough to see where you’re stepping, but with a mellow moodiness to it.We’ve had a couple hard rains since installing them and haven’t had any issues so far with the waterproofing. I had to snip off a little length from a couple of the strips. There is a little silicone tip that, with a little effort, can be pried off and reused. I reapplied it with a good glob of hot glue inside the cap and sealed the edge with more hot glue to insure it remain water tight.It was easy enough to install. There’s a strip of sticky-tape on the back to aid in holding it up temporarily while you install the brackets that hold it in place. I installed 95% of the lighting alone (and part of that was done directly after imbibing in many drinks). It took about 30-45 minutes to hang each 32’ strip on the underside of the rails. I will probably purchase more brackets at my local big-box to help hold up some of the slightly droopy sections.The sun is dappled from about 8am to noon on most of the panels. Somehow this is enough sun for the lights to last the night.

These solar LED strip lights are fantastic for outdoor decorating! They’re super bright, fully waterproof, and the remote with timer and dimmer settings makes them really convenient to use. Installation was easy with the strong self-adhesive backing, and they look beautiful along our backyard fence. I used them to line our patio space, and it instantly made the whole area feel warm and inviting — I love how cozy it looks at night! Five stars!

These work great and once I decide how I will install them, they will look great as well. The solar panel/controller is nice and the included remote control means that if I install it along the roof of my patio area, I don't need a ladder to adjust the settings. The lights are plenty bright for decoration and do actually provide enough light to be useful, but that also would depend on how they are installed.I would definitely recommend these, and I will probably buy another set after I get them installed and see how they look.

The warm white color of these LEDs is very pleasant and welcoming. It looks very nice on the fence around my driveway. There are several flashing modes you can select, though they are all quite busy. If set to steady mode and with brightness dimmed down, the solar panel provides enough energy to keep the lights running all night. The LED strip itself seems durable and well waterproofed. The current Amazon listing price of $23 (with coupon) represents a good value for this item.
