As a neuroanatomist, I've been wanting a brain model to keep in my office to have when teaching students outside of the anatomy lab, and this was an economical option. For the price, it's a decent model. It's lightweight, and the structures are fairly representative. The label card that came with the model did not have a number/letter key on it, so I've included an image where I added these to the card. I also updated the card with more conventional terminology used for some of the structures. The brainstem components labeled in the product posting images are mislabeled at the time I'm writing this, so you may not want to rely on those. Also, Broca's area is painted the same color as the primary motor cortex (precentral gyrus), so I might paint mine to make sure to two areas are more obviously differentiated. The cranial nerves labels are also slightly off, so I'll probably fix those on my model as well.All-in-all, it's a decent model for the classroom, but more so at the introductory/elementary level.

I can’t speak for the medical value of this brain model as I ordered as a gift for a child who is absolutely obsessed with all aspects of the human body. He loves it!!! It is tough and sturdy and will last a very long time. It’s colorful and intriguing. I try not to buy much plastic but I knew he would love it. Seems bit pricey as it’s plastic but will last a long time.
