It works great! much smoother shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. looks exactly like the old one other than the old one was covered in carbon and sut. just take out the battery, battery holder, and you may also need to take out the air intake hose and air filter housing to get good access. you will see 2 switches that look exactly like this, the one to the left under the air intake hose location is your 2nd gear pressure switch and the one to the right under where the battery sits is your 3rd gear pressure switch. on my CRV there was no check engine light code for it but i wanted to improve my shifting smoothness and this did exactly that. now i am placing an order to replace the 2nd gear pressure switch (which is this item as well). for $30 to have smooth shifting you really cant go wrong. all you need is a 7/8" (22mm) deep socket and either a ratchet or breaker bar. if you already have an oxygen sensor socket in your arsenal that would work too. they are on pretty tight not just snug, so make sure to tighten them down pretty good to ensure a proper fit and of course click the sensor back on!

I thank the heavens I'm a mechanic. Less than 20 bucks to fix a transmission trouble code is like winning the lottery!Love to honda for putting most of these sensors on the OUTSIDE of the transmission.Was easy, quick and cheap.Hope it lasts as long as the OEM!
