I needed to replace the shock absorbers in the washing machine and decided to replace the springs while I had it apart. These fit perfectly and were easy to replace using a small rope to lift out the old springs as mentioned in other reviews. One watch out - the air hose to the fill sensor came loose when the tub dropped as I replaced the springs causing the tub to overfill when I restarted the washer (caused a minor flood in the laundry room). Once I reconnected the sensor hose, everything works perfectly!

A couple weeks ago my drain pump went out on my washer. While I had it apart, I noticed that the shocks & springs were all shot. Just like a car I guess! These springs were an exact match and easy to replace. The trick is to use a piece of wire or cord to loop under the top spring hook. Then you can just pull up with both hands and easily hook/unhook the top spring into the slot.
