we have a 4 year old grand daughter that we don't go out in the yard by herself, as we have a pool. Installing these alarms are very simple as they are wireless. They are very loud for their size, with a simple on-off switch that we turn on when we have our grand daughter over. This is an inexpensive gadget that does the trick, and enhances safety.

Needed to install an alarm anytime someone opened a door. At first didn't have high expectations considering the price point, but it definitely beat it. There is also a switch so you can disarm the alarm as needed. It came with everything needed to get it up and running. The battery and double sided tape are included with each set.Would recommend wearing ear plugs during the initial install as its quite loud.Overall quite happy with my purchase.

Easy to install. Pretty darn loud.I put them on my windows, sliding door. Perfect for when I’m away or home. I do have one on my front door, but only active when home. -It’s just a on/off switch on the side. When you install make sure they even and level with each other. If you run into that problem, like I did. (Don’t return them) it’s a easy fix-find a piece of wood or plastic piece to size and glue together. I used super glue and a random piece of wood I found in my arts and crafts box.I really recommend these to anyone.. they are affordable and gives piece of mind.

These alarms are VERY loud which is great, and they're easy to install EXCEPT for one thing...... If the window/door is flush with the frame it's a snap to install. I did 12 windows in about 5 minutes. However, I had to put these on 6 different exterior doors. Since one piece goes on the frame, and the other piece goes on the door there is a problem. My door frames are not flush with the wall. I think very few doors are. So I had to use extra mounting tape to make them even with each other. I'm not talking about an extra layer, I'm talking about close to a full INCH. Luckily I had a large roll of permanent outdoor mounting tape already, which I ended up using for everything and not using their mounting pads at all. Another issue with their mounting pads is if you remove it from the frame of your door or window it takes paint with it. The outdoor mounting tape is more reliable PLUS you can remove it with no damage to the surface. I bought the Scotch brand. Other than that I'm pleased and feel much safer now. I put them on every door and window in the house. Just know that you're probably going to have to modify one of the pieces when you install them on regular doors.

Very loud alarm and simple to install. Put the included batteries into the alarm, and then stick them on doors or gates with the included two sided tape. It can be flipped upside down to install on right or left openings. It has an on/off switch if you need to turn it off for a bit. I don't think it has different modes or settings. If it is turned on, and you open the gate or door, you get a loud blaring alarm. No bypass switch. I have these on my back door and another on my pool fence gate as a layer of safety for having little ones near water.
