There is no way these would ever hold on concrete. Wood maybe but tried 3 different times in concrete and they came right out with no effort

We will be using these post anchors, plus one more set, on a post/railing project in conjunction with some wooden outdoor steps after the first of the year. From the looks of these anchors, I cannot see any reason why they wouldn’t be perfect for just such a job. Made from heavy 14-gauge galvanized steel and layered with waterproofing and a powder coating, they will surely be strong and secure enough to stabilize the posts and protect the wood from rotting. With an all-inclusive kit like this, with everything provided, plus a wench and a pair of work gloves, we will only have to come up with our drill and the posts. No instructions needed. It will be pretty easy to tell what goes where and how.

These post anchors are super burly, thick metal, and heavy. You will not be able to bend these. The welding looks great, no unsightly seams or joints, and along with the black powdercoat, they are both very smooth looking and well finished. The two anchors came with expanding bolts and screws and drill bit adapters, which I wasn't expecting. That really helps to cut down the unexpected trips to the hardware store looking for needed parts. It's kind of weird how hard it was to find things like these at the local store. These are excellent and a great price.
