AWSOME product but should for sure add more thickness to the plates to avoid a wobble it creates.

A friend recommended this system because of the look - something substantial that didn't look industrial. I looked at it and the cost, but in this case you are definitely getting what you pay for. That includes free plans with a materials list. Using the plans and the system, I build a 12' x 14' pergola by myself in about 12 hours. I haven't totaled everything up, but final cost was about $800 including the wood. It looks great and neighbors up and down my street are asking if I can build one for them.A couple of quick points: Everything I ordered arrived within 24-48 hours, all in good shape with nothing broken or missing. The post bases do not come with any screws to attach to your deck or whatever foundation you are using, so you will need to purchase those. I also saw a review where someone complained the screws were easy to strip. That isn't actually accurate. The screws are are tapered to give them an old-world look, which means you need to seat your wrench or socket solidly on the base of the screw head to get proper torque. I had to buy a new socket because the one I had was worn, and just wasn't working as it should. The new socket worked great but I did have trouble in areas where it was hard to position myself to get the right position. My recommendation is take your time and don't rush it and you will be fine.I don't write a lot of reviews, but I can highly recommend the OZCO system. It looks good, is easy to use, and while it isn't cheap, it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

What I disliked was the price. I needed 3 and the total cost was over $120.00. Maybe it’s me but that just felt pricey for a 4x4 post base. Still, I wasn’t pleased with what I currently had in place. I did like the look of these and fact the bottom of the base is compact so I ordered them. Shipping was one day better than advertised which is always a plus. They arrived via USPS and packaging was excellent. I have to say I was impressed with the quality. Nice heavy weight parts with professional finish. While I may not have liked the price, in the end I did feel like these were worth the money and would highly recommend this post base to anyone.

These are what the doctor ordered. I had to replace the posts supporting my heavy patio cover which is an extension of my house roof due to rotting. The original posts were placed directly on the concrete floor. Water had wicked up the posts causing rotting over 28 years. These bases have solved that problem. My new posts are now above the concrete. Sprinkler water no longer puddles around the wooden bottoms of the posts. A real positive perk is that they install easily and look fantastic.
