No more spending on batteries . my kids love them because they are rechargeable.

I have a bunch of solar pathway light that use AA batteries. The batteries in the old light were about dead and these replacement batteries are working very well, plus the capacity is much batter that the cheap batteries that came with the lights. So far so good.

Purchased to run a string of led holiday lights. I put them in our slow charger when they arrived and they started charging, so they weren't full. Not a problem, I'd have be very surprised if they were topped off.Installed them and they were severely depleted the next day. For reference, If I use energizer rechargeables, or even Amazon basics rechargeable.. they last for several days before being as depleted as the KAMCY were overnight.Put back into our trickle-charger. Normally, a well-depleted AA will take at least 24-36 hours to recharge. The KAMCY batteries claimed to be fully recharged in less than half a day.. which also indicates to me that they're much lower capacity than my other rechargeable AAs.I'll give them another chance as soon as I need to cycle the other batteries (other's still going strong after a couple of days). I'll update this if they last longer on the next use cycle but I'm not expecting much.

These AA NIMH batteries are are advertised as 2800 mah low discharge with 1200 to 1500 charge cycles. The low discharge, charge cycle and longevity claims will take considerable time to test but I can say the capacity claim is reasonably close. Using the OPUS chargers refresh discharge full charge function they charge to 2500+ mah which compares with the capacity of the quality Japanese Eneloop Pros or the IKEA LADDAs. The Japanese cells only claim 500 charge cycles so I have to view the 1200+ charge cycle claim with a bit of skepticism. My experience has been the Chinese cells I have used in the past did not have the longevity of the Panasonic, LADDA or Fujitsu cells but we will have to see how these cells compare over time. I plan to alternate them with LADDAs in my electric house door deadbolt locks for comparison. These come in considerably cheaper than the Eneloop Pros but if you live close to an IKEA the LADDAs at a small premium are a good bet. Short of a premature failure it will take a while to update real world performance but for now can give 4 stars for capacity.
