Looks good haven’t put it on yet shipping was delayed other cables came in on time this part had the junction box so couldn’t put everything together yet, so don’t be in a hurry to use.!

Good quality kit with all the pieces to install a trailer breakaway. You will need to buy separately a battery and small charger for charging the battery from the vehicle power.2 negatives:1. the wire appears to be aluminum coated with copper so it looks like copper. The cut ends of the wire are silver...2. They say the cable is 8 ft long but it's 7.5. That works ok for me, but may not for everyone.

I bought this alongside a new LED lighting lit to re-do the wiring on an old car hauler that had ancient incandescent lights on it. It worked great! It was solidly built, and the color coded terminals made wiring it easy.To mount it, I drilled and tapped two quarter-by-twenty holes in the trailer frame (looks like it would take up to M7 for metric), but there are several other ways it could have been done as well.The only thing I’d say it would benefit from, is a handful of crimp on ring terminals to make your trailer connections more solid. I had enough spares laying around, but just barely, so buy some alongside this and make your life much easier.

This make wiring a trailer simple without cutting and splicing. All labeling and diagrams are easy to follow.
