It works like it should. I ordered a white fridge and received a black one instead. It's too big and bulky to conveniently send back, so I guess I have a black fridge now.

Ordered on May 31, 2019it's now 8/25/2022 and the fridge is still operational and functioning just as the day I bought it.I could see why certain people had damages to their unit upon arrival. I know it's been some time now since I paid for it, but I do remember the packaging being a bit slim and lackluster allowing easy damage to be dealt to the package in transit.I was dealt a lucky hand as mine didn't arrive with any damages just exterior damage to the packaging itself.back to the fridge, it's been amazing, I originally bought this fridge for my personal use in my bedroom after I first started working as my family had a tendency of using items i purchased and wanted only for my own use..This fridge allowed me to be relieved of that frustrating issue, it gets really cool and i mean REALLY, enough to make annoying ice blockages on the freezer portion that you'll have to be aware of if your temp knob is too high.I'd 100% recommend this for anyone's office, whether at work or from home.

Cooling is good. Packaging was great. Looks nice and is appropriately sized. It is less noisy than my old fridge; however, it is noisier than I expected. I don't know how the 45 dBA rating was obtained but that might just be a best case scenario with the average being slightly higher. This is despite me trying everything I could to level it on a flat surface. Also, it turns on quite often. I wish allowed for a bit more fluctuation in temperature and turned on less often.Whether it feels quiet or not depends on the noise floor of your environment. In noisier environments, it will seem quiet. In quieter environments like a bedroom, the noise is fairly audible. The dominant frequency is at 60 Hz. Not too many peaks at higher frequencies. While the latter point is the positive, the former can mean that the corners of your room have a lot of bass resonance. This is important for you if the fridge is going to been in your bedroom and you sleep with your head within about 1 meter of a room corner.Overall I don't think its a bad product and its manageable. I hope in the future TEK cooler tech improves to the point where can use it in larger fridges for quieter operation.

I thought this was a great little fridge until it started emitting an awful chemical smell. Most likely the toxic coolant.I was given every number possible for Black and Decker (as it is out of Amazon’s 30 day replacement window ) and after hours on the phone and numerous contacts… apparently this issue is nobody’s department. One more piece of garbage for the dump. Sorry World.
