I had one as a kid and bought another for my Halloween decor. This was such a fun add on. It’s very bright and the perfect size. Just as good as the ones back in the day. 100% recommend.

I was shocked at this plasma ball. I didn't expect to get what I saw online. Yes, this is an 8" plasma ball. In fact, it's huge compared to what's on the market currently. I've never seen a three color plasma ball before this one. This thing is great. It's like what we grew up with, but it's three colors. When we first got it, we thought it's off switch was defective. I didn't realize the switch has three positions. on-off-sound... The sound mode will sit and occasionally flicker on until you sing. It prefers deeper and louder sounds. When paired with a karaoke machine or music, it flickers on and off with the base frequencies and loud notes. My kids found this really amusing with their karaoke machine. It was a big hit in my house for a couple weeks; now it's a novelty that rarely gets turned on, but is enjoyed greatly when they think about it. I can't leave it in my kids' rooms because I worry about a fire risk; I also won't leave it plugged in, but I think I'm just being paranoid. Great product. Surprised that it's so great!
