How I use this: I have a ham radio (ICOM ID-5100A) that has two receiver channels. It goes in my car and sometimes is removed to the shack. I have one of these in each location.In the car, the two channels of the radio are combined as if stereo, and hooked into the AUX jack of the car, where one channel is on the left speakers, and the other is on the right. The cable has withstood the usual mechanical jostling and both freezing (15F) and hot car (120F) temperatures without a glitch of any sort.In the shack, the cable bridges the gap between the radio and a pair of powered computer speakers. Very sweet.This cable is a neat, cheap solution to a thorny problem ... and all I had to do is buy it. Otherwise I'd be at a soldering iron and purchased plugs and jacks. This is so much neater.GSM

The lack of shielding meant that they would not work in my application. In my application the cables were picking up too much interference from other nearby cables. They were sent back.

I was looking for something to split the stereo sound from an outdoor movie projector to left and right outputs going to separate speakers. I originally found a male trs to right/left mono ts splitter hear on amazon, but there was interference (humming/buzzing) heard in the speaker, probably from poor quality shielding. I tried 3 of them, with the same issue. I found this cable next and it has done the intended job without any interference, so I am satisfied with this product that does the job as intended.
