This is a great product that helped me use less space on my workbench while protecting my printer from my cats. It also maintains a consistent temperature and humidity level, which have been a challenge in the past. Very easy to assemble, and it looks great!

One of the better looking enclosures out there, and includes basically all the features I can think of wanting.I appreciate the provision for active ventilation, which is important with the amount of printing I do.The pass-through for the AMS lite is nicely thought out and allows connecting and disconnecting with little fuss. This modularity is nice since I don't use my AMS all the time, and would rather use the space it takes up for other things. The spool holder is well placed and helps minimize the footprint, which is the reason I got the mini version of the A1 in the first place. It is also 3D printed, which was oddly reassuring, knowing that the manufacturer of this 3D printer accessory utilizes 3D printing as well. This might be a silly thing to be impressed by, but the packaging and instructions were also nicer and more thought out than I was expecting (see pictures). Assumed I'd just get a box full of parts and told to figure it out. Includes decent enough tools and a full roll of neoprene foam tape - I suppose for optional extra sealing, they definitely didn't skimp there.I did note one error on the instructions, when you get toward the end there aren't enough self tapping screws in Bag 2 for installation of the door. There are a bunch left over in another bag, just use those, as that was probably the intent.Another reviewer also mentioned that the self tapping screws did not work for mounting the hinge brackets to the frame, and that he had to drill out holes in the aluminum extrusion. I don't believe they are actually supposed to screw into the frame itself - the self tappers are threaded for tapping into plastic rather than metal, so I just used them as clamps to clamp the plastic hinge brackets onto the extrusion. Over-tightening them in an effort to get them to dig into the metal will just result in this 'clamp' spreading out too much and breaking. This seems sufficient to hold the hinge brackets in place, especially since the rest of the door assembly locks things in place.I think this was the intended installation, though I can see why the label of 'self tappers' could make one think they are supposed to tap into the metal frame. A warning in the instructions about this might help in the future, though the (admittedly small) picture does show them being used as clamps and not screwed in all the way.The LED strip is a nice addition, hidden away under the front top of the frame. It's both practical and makes the whole setup really pop if you care about that kind of thing. Mine was actually missing from the package, but a message to the manufacturer quickly resolved that problem, and they went above and beyond to resolve other small issues/questions I had. They seem to know their product and 3D printing quite well, definitely impressed with their communication and service.Overall, while this enclosure is more expensive than others, I think the step up in quality and aesthetics versus the usual rickety (and dark) fabric ones is far more than the step up in expense, so it's well worth it. In my view: buy once and cry once, and then reap the benefits and extra convenience for a long time.

The enclosure feels really good quality and went together well. Unfortunately one part was damaged on arrival but I contacted TopCube directly and within a few hours they arranged immediate dispatch of the replacement parts, so great customer service! For anyone else considering this just note that the bottom of the enclosure is open (no acrylic sheet for the base) I was able to contact TopCube for this but also seems to be something local acrylic cutters can supply for fairly cheap.

First, this might be a lengthy review of how I came across this enclosure. After getting my hands on the Bambu Lab A1, I started searching for an enclosure for several reasons. One of the main reasons was to print ABS, and another was to reduce fumes. Initially, I came across the Yoopai acrylic enclosure, which is only compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. I reached out to Yoopai to ask if they would launch a similar enclosure for the A1. They confirmed they would, but with a different design, which would only be available in November 2024.As soon as they launched the new Topcube enclosure, I placed my order immediately. This review will primarily compare it to the Yoopai version for reference. Now, onto the review. This enclosure looks very nice and futuristic compared to the Yoopai version. However, the quality of the frame itself is not great—it has some hairline cracks that could lead to breakage if force is applied, as reported by other users. The sealing is also not completely tight; you can see gaps at the door sides. Additionally, due to the frame’s lack of uniformity, there are small gaps at the connecting joints as well. That said, it is still a very sturdy enclosure. To make things easier, I'll break it down into pros and cons:Pros:1. Very sturdy compared to the previous Yoopai version2. Futuristic design3. Easy to assemble if you follow the manual and use a bit of logical thinkingCons:1. Frame is not uniform at the connecting ends2. Frame is not customizable, unlike the previous Yoopai version3. Not 100% sealed—there are gaps at the door sidesOne notable downside of this frame design is that it doesn’t allow for the AMS Lite to be placed on top of the enclosure. This would have been possible if the frame used an aluminum profile. I hope Topcube considers offering some kind of 3D-printable upgrade or solution to allow the AMS Lite to be mounted on top of this new enclosure.

Update: The seller reached out to make things right, and have told me they are changing a myriad of things about the product and instructions to correct the issues I brought up. They were very responsive, professional, and interested in doing the right thing. Overall, I would still advise great caution with assembly, but with the changes they're making, theoretically it should be much better in future orders than what I outlined below. For transparency though, I will be leaving the original review in its entirety below. Mine was shipped to me early December 2024, so within a few months, it should hopefully be a relatively normal Amazon experience.----Original Review (unedited):I never complain about assembly, but for a plastic cube with a door, this was a huge pain to put together. The thickness of the acrylic and the channels in the aluminum were inconsistent, meaning the acrylic would stick so hard that there was no chance of "sliding" the thing together as instructed. But if you use any amount of force, the corner pieces will immediately shear off! I had two such corner pieces break when trying to set the back acrylic into place.Even the instructions were terrible too-- not enough information to easily distinguish the unmarked pieces of acrylic (which must all go in the correct place with the correct orientation), while assembling it, the "back" acrylic goes on the bottom, the "top" goes on the back, etc... like, if you're going to flip the thing around during assembly, just mark them A/B/C/D/E with stickers, placed on the "bottom right of the outside" of the acrylic sheet, etc, solving (a) which is which, (b) the rotation, and (c) inside vs outside. It's not rocket science; it's just a cube!I don't know what possessed me to pay $136 for a cheap aluminum frame and a few pieces of acrylic, but it is shameful to charge this price for something so cheap and lazily explained. Now I have to figure out how to model two replacement corner joints and print them before I can finish assembly. Because I'll take a wild guess and say that whoever designed this thing isn't about to send me the replacement parts I need to fix this useless half-cube I now own. They made sure to threaten me in the instructions to be careful, since they "will not assume responsibility for damage caused by improper installation", which was nice. And despite following the instructions and being very careful, it seems safe to assume I'll be on my own with figuring out how to deal with the two 10-cent pieces I broke.Very disappointing!
