I had to change my review because I could not program it myself. I took it to the mechanic and he programmed it on his machine. The trunk part 98% Of the time does not work. It may be just my trunk mechanism going bad. ***Over all I can lock and unlock my doors.***

I purchased this key fob for my ‘98 Buick because after replacing the battery in my old one, it still did not work. New fob arrived quickly & came with a note to go to a website for programming instructions. Programming the fob was quick & easy and the fob works great!

Keyless entry was standard equipment on a few decade old Malibu. Owner said he never had a fob but I knew it was wired for one due to model. Bought this, followed the procedure with ignition and door locks and it works. Even has panic alarm and trunk which the car had. Talked to the previous owner who said he had the car 7 years and never knew. Great product for price.
