I tested this with a power station that indicates provided input and in the middle of winter produced 26 watts, close to the stated 30 watts of power.

I have a small handheld portable generator. It's big enough to plug a small TV into if i chose, and have plugged a small cook pot into, but small enough it's portable and can be taken anywhere with ease. I do have the optionof charging by outlet, but was lacking the solar panel for me to be able to charge it solar...until I got this. This solar panel is just as easy to transport as the generator and it is a perfect combination for my family of 4 to use in the event we lost power, or needed this for camping or hiking or fishing. We do not often do these things, but the fact it is available, and works with no issues to charge our power source, is a huge win. I do not know yet how long it will last, or how durable it is yet, but so far, what I do know, I'm happy to give this 5 stars. If at any time it falls below that, I will be back to update my review. So far, very happy.

This folds up nicely making storage not much of an issue. It doesn't have any internal means of angling the unit so you just lay it on something. Like any of these type items, best output comes with stronger midday sun although I still got some slow charging later in the day. Probably most suitable for someone who boondocks for extended periods in which a booster battery would be depleted.

Compact and light, this is a handy portable charging option for out in the field. The three-panel design folds up nicely in its sturdy fabric case, and when deployed is the perfect form factor for hanging from a pack. The four included snap clips make it easy to hang in a variety of ways to maximize exposure to sunlight. I will probably never use any of the 10(!) different power plug adaptors that came with it, as standard USB is far more likely for any of my needs, but it is nice to have such a large selection of plugs just in case. The "instructions" provided are very minimal, so it is fortunate that using the solar panel is simple and self-explanatory.As for performance, it does not take much sunlight at all for the panel to start charging devices. It does however take a good amount of time to fully charge, at least this late in the year. Hopefully performance will be somewhat better during warmer months when the sun is directly overhead rather than low in the sky. As long as you don’t need anything charged quickly, it gets the job done. For what it is – an easily-portable backup charging source that can be carried in a vehicle or a backpack – it provides acceptable performance. I’m happy to have it as a way to keep devices powered up when I’m out hiking or camping.

I've only used it a couple times, mostly for trying it out, but so far it works fine! Charges my phone even with just a little sunlight. It folds up nicely and has a velcro pocket for keeping the cords and plug attachments. I haven't tried any of those yet as I don't really have anything to use with those. I did find that things can fall out of the pocket if the bottom is hanging down but its not really supposed to be laid that way. I just happen to lay it on a chair outside at the time. I'm happy with it so far and I'm pleased to have a way to charge my devices off grid should the need arise!
