Good value for money. However, you will need a lot of patience to put it together. Holes for screws needed re drilled.Once it s built, it is solid enough. The main issue I have is that you have no access to the back of you rack, without removing the door, and the top of the cabinet. If you don’t need regular access to the back, then you will be fine.

You need to make sure the rack fits the application. It is not a heavy-duty rack by far, but it is for very light applications where you want your equipment to look nice and neat. It might be difficult for most mortal men to assemble if you have little experience assembling racks. The instructions are hard to see, the the print is way too small, and would be very awkward to put together by yourself since it requires screwing panels together when the rack is at its flimsenas.

Giving the cabinet rack a 5 star because it turned our perfect for my home network and NAS. However, I would warn you that you might plan for some extra time and care if your unassembled unit is like mine.It was very well boxed. The glass came intact. But there are 6 small metal brackets on inside of the door, that hold the glass. One had broken off the metal door. Looks like very lightly tack welded and forces in shipping somehow detatched it. But glass was aok.My son helped me by sanding the bracket and where it was attached, and he super glued and clamped it. He even shot some black spray paint and it looks and worked! There were a couple of areas in the black metal parts where I had to catefully use neednosed pliers to straighten things out. No big deal.A BIG tip: before you try to screw the self tapping screws on the assembly steps, first take one screw and a philips hand screwdriver, and just start each hole. Turn the screw until it bites, and just get it a turn or so in. Then unscrew. Use same screw and repeat on each hole. Then assemble and the screws will go in a lot easier. I think it is the black paint baked on the cabinet that fills in those holes just a little too tight to get screws started.Another tip, the two pins on the door that hold it to the cabinet and act as hinges... I had to take a small drill bit and barely rotate the tip in each pivot hole. Again, I think it is the black paint filling the holes just a tiny bit too much. pins would not go in until I drilled. I did that on both sides in case in some future tume I or someone wants to flip the door to other side. Be kind to your future self. The first step is a little confusing until you build it out. The four unpainted server rack parts, that your shelf and possibly 1U brackets will mount on, for a core of the cabinet. You have some leeway on which of the 3 tiny holds you self tap the screws into. I did mine on the holes close to front, to give more depth. The parts are woobly until you get atleast the shelf mounted. I did mine 12 inches off the bottom, so my HP Proliant server can site on floor. You can change the shelf position later, but take a good guess.I bought a $15 LED light with 3 bars. It had double sided tape and looks great. I got one that changes colors to music and I can click its remote to select colors and white. Got it primarily for work on wiring and such inside. Mounted 2 on each front side, to see the wiring and buttons on server and TP-Link stuff, and one light bar in rear for working back wires and power cords.I am waiting to see if I need to buy any fans for the builtin fan mounts. My stuff is pretty low powred so may not need. Glad the vents and mounts are there.Decided to use the back panel cord knockout. It has another option at bottom. I put the wheels on so mine going under my L shaped moterized standing desk. Unit with wheels perfect height. The glass door looks great and keeps our cats out of the cabinet. Lots of vent holes. The side access doors pop off easily for messing with wiring. My TP-Link er605 router and 8 port smart switch are not 19inches for rack mounting. BUT I found on Etsy guys selling 3D printed 1U face mounted units!!!! I bought two 1U assembly. I was able to find one that holds both TP-Link units on same 1U. Another has 10 patch squares for cat6 keystones... plus a bracket for my DNS server....a PI lol. It will be some much better than what I was doing on book shelves and an old wood cabinet. So for the modest price + a DIY attitude + some good luck that nothing big was dented or broken ... I have a great setup. Good luck!
