These were great for my most recent hike. They were perfect for steep inclines and muddy trails. I only had a week to break them in beforehand. I recommend changing out the insoles in you have high arches to avoid any numbness. I used the Dr. Scholl’s custom orthotics.

The shoe is of good quality, and looks nice.. butas I read one review on here " to small length-wise, and to small width-wise. It looked and felt like a child’s shoe." This holds true for me too. It was a very weird fit!Reading other reviews, 90% were rated highly, so I purchased them.
