I bought this for my dad and stepmother for their electric blanket heaters that I bought and they love it it stretches across the room so they can sit in their chairs in the living room and stay warm during the day during the winter. Durable fantastic length and size. Easy to use.

Our kitchen is being remodeled and we have white countertops and a white and beige glass tile backsplash. We had a Nespresso and Tea Bar put in which meant three very visible black cords leading into a socket on the wall. Buying an 18” braided extension cord which means ONE plug in the wall that leads to a 3 way plug on the counter, took care of half the problem of the ugly cords leading into the plug. However, there are still all those cords bunched up behind the appliances.. I made cord covers for the cords out of a beige fabric that blends with the runner I put on the counter. However, we have since discovered that we can buy white close fitting cord covers to cover the cord that lead into a box, and a white box with bamboo top to neatly corral all the cords and we plan to do that soon. They’re available on Amazon. In the meantime, this fix is still 100% better than what it looked like before. Now if appliance makers could make make braided cords. That would be ideal. An After and Before photo included. Don’t mind that there are no cover plates on the outlets yet. Those are still to come.

This is a short extension cord with a flat wall plug that is great for when your outlet is just a little hard to reach. I originally ordered this because the most logical position for a bookcase happened to be right in front of the outlet on that wall. While I could just scoot the bookcase a little further from the wall to make room for the plugs going into that outlet, this allows me to move the outlet out from behind the bookcase for easier access. The build quality on this, for the most part, is pretty good with no obvious quality control issues. I know others have mentioned that their cord was unusually short - I did not have that problem, although it is important to remember that the 2' is the total length, including the power strip itself. The cord is very thick and sturdy and has a nice, although a very slightly fuzzy, braided cover. The power strip is compact in size, and plugs fit into it snugly (maybe a little too snuggly at first, although I imagine it will loosen up over time). What ended up being a deal breaker for me though, was that the cord was so thick and somewhat twisted, and the power strip was so lightweight, I found it very hard to keep the power strip flat and facing upwards. The cord kept trying to twist it sideways or upside down, and my initial attempts to straighten the cord were not successful. I am unsure if this is just an problem with the one I received, if it's something that will resolve itself with time, or if the combination of the thickness and shortness of the cord will always make this an issue. I may try to see if I can find a longer extension cord and just hide the extra cord length behind the bookcase.
