I am using this for a different purpose than its advertised one...instead of using it as wires for a railing construction, I'm suing it for a 50' radio antenna tower. I found the quality of this cable to be very high, and excellent for that purpose. It imparts a stylish look to its application and reduces sun reflection, which is always nice. The included wire cutter is surprisingly good in quality. Usually one might expect to get a 'throwaway' tool in a package like this but it's really quite nicely made and is now a part of my toolbox.Bear in mind that although the manufacturer calls the cable 'flexible'...and it is...it's not so flexible that you'll be able to make a serviceable loop merely by twisting it around itself. The cable is far too rigid for that. You'll be needing to use swaging gear to get a strong loop or perhaps bolt-on wire rope connectors if you can find any that small. It's serving my application quite well and the mast hasn't budged throughout a windy, subzero winter. No discoloration is evident yet and it seems ready and willing to embark upon many years of service. It seems to be an excellent value for your money, and a quality product.Buy it with confidence.

I recently picked up the Spiglamm 100FT 1/8" Black Stainless Steel Cable for our farmhouse, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for our outdoor setup. The cable's robust construction, with its 7x7 strands, provides the perfect balance of strength and flexibility, making it ideal for hanging several sun shades.Installation and DurabilityThe installation was straightforward, thanks to the included cutter, which made trimming the cable to size a breeze. The T316 stainless steel material ensures that it can withstand the elements without rusting or corroding, which is crucial for us here in the countryside where weather can be quite unpredictable. I've noticed that unlike some competitor products, this cable doesn't stretch or sag over time, maintaining the tension needed to keep our sun shades taut and effective.A Practical ExampleJust last weekend, we had a family gathering, and the sun was beating down. With the sun shades hung using this cable, we created a cool, shaded area where everyone could relax without worrying about sunburn. The black color of the cable blends seamlessly with our outdoor decor, giving a sleek, modern look to our farmhouse. One ConsiderationNow, one thing to keep in mind is that while this cable is incredibly durable, it does require a bit more effort to tighten compared to some of the more flexible options out there. But for me, the trade-off for longevity and strength is well worth it. If you're looking for something that's easy to adjust, you might want to consider a different product, but for those who value durability and a professional finish, this cable is top-notch.

The steel cable is a high quality product at a good price.I did not end up using their wire cutters, I bought a $18 Milwaukee pair at Home Depot and used those instead. I tried using the tool once just to compare and it was so much worse than the Milwaukee pair.If your project involves under 20 cuts no need to buy another tool, but if you are a new contractor or have a more advanced DIY project I recommend the upgrade.Overall, good quality steel cable at a great price. Wish they had an option to buy it without the tool.

This is about the best stainless steel cable that I think you can get. 316 stainless steel is used for salt water ocean applications and will be extremely durable for use in a home or commercial setting. With the black coating it looks great and minimizes risk of scrapes and issues with metal contact. Very nice cable and a great value for the money.
