It is about 12 inches wide. I did not unroll it to see if it is the full 78.6 inches long.My use is not photography but protecting insects: I have gotten an LED spotlight for a flag, so it can be displayed overnight. But I want to do something to protect the insects the light will otherwise attract and kill. Yellow and red are the preferred "safe" lights for that.I am guessing I can flatten this out (it is rolled up and then flattened so that there are rounded spots every 1 1/2 inches or so) by applying some moderate heat, say a hair dryer. Then I need to figure a way to adhere it to the front of the light. Not sure if the light will get hot enough to melt this film. So I have some experiments in front of me.In any event, the film is a very transparent yellow (so I am not sure how yellow the light will get, but I can probably add layers to deepen the yellow). It seems to be uniformly transparent with no blemishes so far on the end I unfolded. It will be good for my testing, and hopefully for the insects.

This yellow has a very faint greenish hue, which most people won't notice, but I can definitely see it (I tend to be able to see very subtle color gradations, which is part of the reason I'm in the arts). It will basically work if all you care about is generic "yellow" for lighting a party, but it's not good on any skin tone and gives a slight sickly look. Might be good for something like a hospital scene, especially if you add a little CTB, or you could try warming it up with CTO.
