First of all its all one peace and has a great weight and smooth feel. The cover fits a standard bic and and slides in smooth and doesn’t slip out ever even when dropped. Great aesthetic

Very heavy so you can always feel it in your pocket and lighter thieves are less likely to steal a lighter that you would notice is missing immediately. It's very sturdy and has a beautiful design.

Someone bought one of these for me as a gift and at first I wasn't impressed, since I've preferred zippos for decades. But after using it for a few days, I really like the weight it gives the lighter and the convenience of a disposable. Detail is very well done, no sharp edged to cut pockets or fingers and the finish shows no signs of wearing off, even after bouncing around in my pocket with keys, change, etc.The only down side is hardly worth mentioning, but it's that the lighter fits a little too snug, so you may need pliers to pull an old lighter out, as there's not much of the lighter to grip with your fingers. Still an excelent product.
