The pre-filter seems to be decent quality, but I threw the charcoal filter in the garbage and reused the Levoit charcoal filter. The charcoal filter was just nasty. The bag it came in was completely covered with charcoal dust and many of the honeycombs that hold the charcoal were almost empty. There is no way I was going to install that in my air purifier and have it blow charcoal dust in my house and who knows what it might do to the motor of the air purifier. The fit was fine, but I will purchase the Levoit brand in the future providing they are available.

So, right up front I'll admit that I didn't buy this for the intended use... but it works great for what I got it for!My apartment complex has been out of filters for the A/C units here for months now, and I just got SO tired of smelling musty, moldy-smelling air, especially during this quarantine. I saw these, and months of clean air sounded SO much better than what I've been dealing with. This filter just fit into the filter slot, and it's been nothing but fresh, clean-smelling air since!WELL worth taking a risk for!

This filter fits perfectly into my LEVOIT LV-PUR-131 air purifier. I usually buy the LEVOIT brand air filters, but they were out of stock (probably due to COVID). I ordered this set just to see if they would work as well as the LEVOIT brand. I can say I was a bit sketch about whether they would fit/work or not. When they came in they certainly looked the same although they were packaged differently. This packaging was less protected than the LEVOIT brand, but they filters were not damaged at all in shipping so I did not mind that at all.They are priced at $30. As I leave this review, LEVOIT's filters are back in stock and also listed at $30; however, that is not always the case. Sometimes the "name brand" filters' price fluctuates and may be more or less than the current $30 price tag. Having another brand of filter that fits the machine and is priced more reasonably helps balance some of the price hikes that go on with the name brand filter. I would say this is an excellent buy AND also an excellent backup option if you are in need of an air purifier filter for your LEVOIT 131 machine. This brand has filtered great thus far and also seems slightly quieter than the other brand. I think this is definitely a win!
