1907
W.O. Wells establece The Wells Glove Company en Aberdeen, SD con 500 y cinco máquinas de coser. El negocio estaba dominado inicialmente por las ventas de látigos de piel y ventas de calcetería. 3 años después, W.O. los eliminó gradualmente para concentrar su negocio en hacer guantes.
1914
Maurice Lamont se unió a The Wells Glove Company y la empresa fue cambiada a Wells Lamont. Maurice murió trágicamente en un accidente de caza seis meses después. El nombre se mantuvo para honrar a W.O. amigo y socio comercial.
1928
Wells Lamont presenta su icónico guante de palma de piel White Mule. La imagen de mulas eventualmente se agregaría al logotipo de Wells Lamont.
2019
Wells Lamont anuncia la adición de línea más reciente al catálogo. La línea FX3 se centra en perfeccionar el ajuste, flexible y sensación de guantes de trabajo de alta destreza sin sacrificar la seguridad y la protección de las manos.

They work great when working with grease but are heavy so hands may sweat..

I love this type of glove as it is waterproof (on bottom where my fingers touch the soil) which means not only do my finger stay dry I don't get soil under my fingerprints. Because of the rubberized bottom they are very easy to rinse clean. My last pair similar to these lasted several years so I bought these because I know they will last (as long as I don't accidentally snip the end when cutting plants like I did with my last pair).

Latex coated work gloves are great for gripping shovels and garden tools and garden work in general, but I could never find a pair that fit my small hands. (You don't want your hands sliding around in them giving you blisters.) These come in Size Small (you can never find Size Small in the stores) and fit my small hands perfectly. Also, the thumb is fully encased in latex which is important to prevent blisters in the "crotch" of your thumb as you rake and use other garden tools. (Most of the latex gloves you find in the stores do not have fully enclosed thumbs.) Plus the price is very reasonable. I bought 12 pairs!
