"I'm giving this only one star because the egg cooker is not usable in the UK without a transformer converter plug. It runs on 110V with a 2-pin US plug, which wasn’t made clear when I purchased it. I attempted to return it, but the return label is for the United States, making the postage nearly as expensive as the cooker itself. Since a transformer plug costs almost as much as a new egg cooker, I decided to cut my losses and buy a different one instead."

Aunque leí varias opiniones negativas adquirí este producto. Hasta ahora solo he preparado huevos en la charola redonda y quedan muy bien.Puesto que es necesario apagar el aparato estando caliente, ayudaría mucho que el botón fuese más suave y tuviese otra posición.

Even my 1 day old eggs peel beautiful easy. No chunks or pitting of the egg whites. I highly recommend getting yourself one.I've been using ours every few days since I bought it a few months back. Durable. Fast. Nice appearance. Easy to wash and super handy for anyone who loves eating eggs yet hates the egg peel roulette.It's about 20 or so minutes if doing the 14 eggs. Doesn't make noise while steaming. Once it beeps I immediately transfer to a paper plate or counter to cool for 1 hour. Other times I would put in fridge for 30 minutes. Wipe out the metal plate after it cools a little, between every steaming.Easy to hand-wash the lid, egg racks and the stack rim. I keep it on my counter top since it is used every few days. I send my husband off to work with 4 eggs in his lunch everyday. He loves how easy they are to peel too.Those of us with FRESH LAID EGGS know the woes of trying to peel these gems if hard boiled within the first day to weeks of laying. The key is also to let them sit for 30 to 60 minutes out of the machine and allow the whites to shrink back down after their steaming.Huge difference. No more boiling eggs and pray they don't pit or crack etc.I've been telling everyone this is the best unit and most reliable for hard boiled eggs that peel easy and beautiful.It's affordable. Useful and tou won't regret adding it to your kitchen or work space.

Util, funciona con muy poca agua, buen nivel de cocimiento.Tratar con cuidado, el material no es muy resistente.Recomendable!

We had an egg cooker that we had used for many years. We loved how it boiled eggs so easily. Once we replaced it, and wound up giving the replacement away and going back to our old one. This time, the old egg cooker just didn't work anymore. It shut off before the eggs were cooked. We replaced it with this Hamilton Beach. It is better than the old one. I love the measuring cup for the water. It is much easier to use than the "fill to" lines on the old one. It seems to take less time to finish and the eggs are perfect. I just have to figure out what level to use for soft-boiled to suit my preference. It is amazing to get such a quality product that does such a great job for such a low price!

Que maravilla de aparato, feliz con el, siempre tenía accidentes cuando los cocía de la forma tradicional, ahora disfruto mucho comiendo huevos de diferentes estilos de una forma fácil, rápida y efectiva, cumple con todo lo que promete y el precio inmejorable!

Es un excelente producto cuando llego y lo vi la primera impresion no es buena porque se ve mas pequeño de lo que se espera pero al ponerlo en practica es muy comodo y compacto para llevarlo de un lado a otro o guardarlo ya que no usa mucho espacio los materiales son resistentes y se ve que durara bastante el unico problema a nivel personal es que hay que estar al pendiente del sonido ya que no se apaga solo entonces hay que calcular o estar cerca para cuando suena porque el sonido no es muy fuerte pero todo lo hace bastante rapido asi que es mejor esperar.

I bought this on a whim because it was cheap and I wanted something that could cook boiled eggs without waiting for the water to boil (traditional stove top way). At this price I wasn't expecting much but I've used Hamilton Beach products before and liked all of them. First of all, it's small. I mean really small and that's a plus because it takes so little space in the kitchen. It looks kind of cool as well (modern if you will). I've only had it for 2 days and I have not tried the poacher but it cooked hard boiled eggs to perfection. I filled the plastic goblet to the #4 level of water for 3 hard boiled eggs and they turned out perfect the first time. Time for cooking 3 eggs was exactly 12 minutes from plugging the unit on until the audible alarm sounded indicating that the cooking was done (it's not really an alarm but more like a small bell sound and it should be louder IMHO). On the stove top, I would have to wait at least 8-9 minutes just for the water to boil and another 10 minutes for the eggs to cook so I figure this little gadget is a good time saver. It's super easy to clean as well. The instructions are clear. On the bottom of the water goblet, there is a plastic cap that can be removed revealing a steel pin. There is absolutely no mention of this or its purpose in the instructions in English or French. One small observation about the unit : It mentions in the instructions to plug it in and then switch it on and off after use. On mine the switch seems to do nothing. If I plug it in, the red light automatically lights up and the unit starts. When the bell rings, the light stays on even if I push the switch to turn the power off. I simply unplug it when the bell rings to indicate that there is no water left in the tray. Is the switch faulty ? I don't know. It works as is and I'm not even sure why a switch is needed.

Love this product, it is so easy to use, eggs turnout perfect, use this at least 2-3 times a week. It is so easy to use, perfect eggs each time. Absolutely recommend this product.
