This got my windows looking new again, in combination with a roll of screen we got here as well. It's definitely doable on your own, no need to hire it out for 10x more money. We did 5 windows with it then ran out of the provided spline. We reused some after that.

This worked great. I have a screened in porch and the spline that was in the screen panels had dry rotted. So these slipped right in and did great. Looks million times better

First time I put on my own new screen with this kit. Just watch a video on youtube, It tells one how to install. Should also buy the screen from Amazon to install. It has all the parts needed to do it the first time around. Screen material was great. Was able to reuse the spline that was already on the screen if one does not go crazy and is gentle.

A must have to replacing your screens in your home. All tools of this kit worked well. But the spline was too small for my old windows, so I use the tool to take the old one out slowly so I was able to use old spline again.With these tools it was so easy to use. They are very stable also I will be able to use again and again.

I got this kit to assist with placing my broken screen. The rolling tool, extractor and spine all worked flawlessly. The clips however are why this only gets 4 stars. The clips were too stiff to easily press them together, and when you were able to do that their pressure was so high that it would either pop out of the slot on the door, tear the screen mesh or both!
